Users must have a username/password to report claims electronically via the Internet. Claim financial data and statistical information on previously reported claims can also be obtained in this manner. Traditional telephone and fax claim reporting methods are still acceptable.
· Each State agency has one or more Chesapeake Employers account numbers and access is limited to the State account(s) at which the user is employed.
· State of Maryland users must receive access approval and coordinate their request through the State agency Risk Manager or their designated Chesapeake Employers contact.
State of Maryland agency Risk Managers or designated Chesapeake Employers contacts should contact their assigned SERMA Risk Management Consultant or Kristin Klein, SERMA Safety Services Director, at 410-832-4791 or at Contact Us Page - SERMA to discuss any questions and to obtain a username/password for approved agency personnel.
